This is a two-day seminar for attendees of all backgrounds to learn the basics of Combined Cycle Power Plant technology. This training is part of Tetra Engineering Group’s long experience in Combined Cycle technology from the 1990s to today.

The event covers all key elements of modern combined cycle power plants

  • Gas Turbine Generator Design and Applications
  • Heat Recovery Steam Generator Design and Fundamentals
  • Steam Turbines for Combined Cycle Operation
  • Evolution of CCPP from small cogeneration to modern H Class Power Plants
  • Design, Manufacture and Construction of CCPP
  • Operational Issues:   Startup, cycling and load changes, Preservation, Alternate fuels, Lifetime and Maintenance issues, Performance Monitoring
  • Boiler Water Quality and Corrosion Control
  • Workshop for attendee questions and comments

The training is accessible for anyone regardless of prior power plant experience.
