Our Nuclear Heritage

Tetra Engineering was founded by former employees of Combustion Engineering’s nuclear division.  In our early years, the company was therefore focused primarily on nuclear engineering and technology. As the power industry generation mix shifted, we broadened our services to conventional thermal power generation. Today, with the renewed interest in nuclear energy, we are leveraging that foundation to deliver specialized technical support in key areas:

  • Reactor Physics – Expertise in fuel physics computer codes (in particular legacy Combustion Engineering codes) as well as reactor I&C,.
