Understanding & Controlling HRSG Waterside Damage

Course Overview:

The course provides attendees with an overview of common HRSG water treatment programs and their effect on controlling waterside corrosion processes. The various forms of waterside corrosion that may occur in the HRSG water and steam circuits are explained in detail. A number of field case studies from recent Tetra projects are used to give a real world perspective.
Although the course is primarily intended for plant operators, managers and engineering staff involved in the O&M decision process will also find the presented information of value. The material is presented in one day with approximately 8 hours of instruction. Course instructors are chosen from Tetra staff and all have more than 20 years of experience in failure analysis, corrosion and corrosion control programs for power plant and industrial systems.
